Our commitment and policy
We take the safety of children and young people very seriously at Bookham Riding Club. After all, they should be able to enjoy sport and recreational activities like horse riding in a fun, safe environment and be protected from harm.
Together with the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) & British Horse Society (BHS) we’ve adopted a Safeguarding and Child Protection policy.
We have appointed officers to ensure that it is implemented throughout our club and provide a support system for Club and Centre Welfare Officers. This will allow anyone to report concerns they may have about poor practice or possible abuse.
